About

Welcome to my writing portfolio. You can check out a sampling of genres and an ever-changing list of events, publications, and class offerings.

I’m a Chicago-based writer, teacher, and arts administrator who knows that one of the best things about being in Chicago is its literary/artistic community. I’m thrilled to be part of that in many ways and to have had the opportunity to help shape it as program manager of the University of Chicago Writer’s Studio. I write honest, raw pieces, fiction and nonfiction, that ultimately celebrate life, freedom, connection, and the power of yearning.
